Apple will release iPad 3 on March 7

Be still my beating heart
It looks like Apple will miss Steve Jobs' birthday on February 24 and will announce its new tablet on March 7.Apple blog iMore, which cites "sources who have been reliable in the past", said that Jobs' Mob is now working to that date. It has managed to get confirmation that the iPad 3 will have a quad-core processor, but it is not certain whether the new device will have LTE compatibility.
The Wall Street Journal is certain that it will having talked to its deep throats, probably in the less secretive Verizon and AT&T networks. It has also confirmed that Jobs' Mob will release a tablet with a smaller screen, something that Jobs said would never take off. We have heard a some late rumours ranging from an improved screen resolution delivering 2048 x 1536 pixels to providing a cure for cancer.
The iPad 2 was announced on March 2 last year and went on sale a week or so later so we would expect to see the queues of mindless drones who have not heard about online ordering starting to line up in the cold and the snow around March 14.
